Common General Surgery Procedures

The most common general surgery we perform in our Raleigh office is affordable and low cost spay/neuter procedures. We also see quite a few patients in need of removal of benign skin growths or abscesses beneath the skin that we can typically remove with a minor surgery or drainage procedure. It is also common to see pets with minor skin lacerations that may require general surgery.

Urgent Care Surgical Procedures at Magnolia Animal Hospital

Urgent surgery may be necessary when pets have some type of foreign body obstructing their intestines or urethra such as bladder stones. Other emergency surgeries we encounter are due to incidents that cause internal bleeding or fractures. Malignant skin tumors diagnosed by our veterinarian in Raleigh may call for fast action via surgical removal. Thanks to our thorough diagnostics, we are prepared to act quickly in any situation with a pet surgery solution.

Our veterinarian is experienced with CO2 laser surgery, and many routine surgeries such as spaying and neutering are typically performed with this equipment. Other conditions we employ is laser surgery for include entropion and ectropion eyelid surgery and skin tumor removal.
