Veterinarians

Jon Dick, DVM

Dr. Jon is a graduate of The Ohio State University, College of Veterinary Medicine. He moved to Raleigh in 1994, following graduation. He started his own practice (Magnolia Animal Hospital) in September 1998. He and his wife, Nikki, married in October 1998. They have 10 cats at home and Savannah Victoria, the hospital cat. They also own a young, sweet dog named Beanie, who is growing into a much larger dog than originally anticipated! Dr. Jon's interests include Ohio State football and UNC basketball.

Teresa Palmer, DVM

Dr. Teresa grew up in upstate New York but completed her BS in Zoology and her DVM degrees at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. After graduating in 1999, she worked in a small animal practice in a small town outside of Madison. She moved to Raleigh in May of 2004. After taking a few years off to raise her amazing sons, she joined Magnolia in January, 2008. At home she is busy controlling the chaos of a new marriage and a blended family of four boys: Devin (5), Brenden (8), Gavin (13), and Hayden (17). That is balanced with the girls - cats Sasha and Rose, and the newest addition, Lucca, a rescued Australian Shepherd mix.

Cindy Kesic, DVM

Dr. Cindy grew up in Dayton, Ohio. She attended Morehead State University and received her Associate in Veterinary Technology and a Bachelor of Science degree. She then went to veterinary school at The Ohio State University and graduated in 2008. In July of 2008 she married her husband, Matt. After working in Columbus, OH for a year, she and her husband moved to Apex, NC in June 2009 so her husband could pursue a post-doc at University of North Carolina. At home she has three four-legged "kids:" two cats, Fender and Gibson, and a black lab mix named Kera. Dr. Cindy loves to watch Ohio State football (Go Buckeyes!) and spend time outdoors.
