Jon Dick, DVM Dr. Jon is a graduate of The Ohio State University, College of Veterinary Medicine. He moved to Raleigh in 1994, following graduation. He started his own practice (Magnolia Animal Hospital) in September 1998. He and his wife, Nikki, married in October 1998. They have 10 cats at home and Savannah Victoria, the hospital cat. Dr. Jon’s interests include Ohio State football and UNC basketball.
Dr. Stacy Amelio, DVM graduated from North Carolina State University in 2016. Her own pets include dogs, cats, parrots, reptiles, horses and ferrets. She not only treats dogs and cats, but also works with exotic pets of all types ranging from rodents and reptiles to birds and fish. She has a passion for surgery with all animal types and has received training by a board certified surgeon in several procedures. She has experience providing behavioral consultations and rehabilitation for dogs with aggression, hyper submissiveness, and unwanted behaviors such as food aggression, anxiety, or destructive behavior. She is eager to utilize low-stress handling techniques and focus on client education to make sure your pet gets the medical care it needs in the most positive manner possible.
Dr. Casey de Castro is originally from Charlotte, NC, and attended Appalachian State University for her undergraduate degree in Molecular Biology. She then received her DVM from NCSU College of Veterinary Medicine in 2019, and joined the Magnolia Animal Hospital team shortly afterwards. Dr. Casey and her husband have a retired racing greyhound, a rescued Scottish Terrier mix, a cat, and a snake at home. Her special interests include feline medicine, shelter/community involvement, surgery, and dermatology.
