Veterinarians

Jon Dick, DVM

Dr. Jon is a graduate of The Ohio State University, College of Veterinary Medicine. He moved to Raleigh in 1994, following graduation. He started his own practice (Magnolia Animal Hospital) in September 1998. He and his wife, Nikki, married in October 1998. They have 10 cats at home and Savannah Victoria, the hospital cat. They also own a young, sweet dog named Beanie, who is growing into a much larger dog than originally anticipated! Dr. Jon’s interests include Ohio State football and UNC basketball.

Teresa Danford, DVM

Dr. Teresa grew up in upstate New York but completed her BS in Zoology and her DVM degrees at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. After graduating in 1999, she worked in a small animal practice outside of Madison. She moved to Raleigh in May of 2004. After taking a few years off to raise her amazing sons, she joined Magnolia in January, 2008. At home she is busy controlling the chaos of two boys, Devin (7) and Brenden (10), her chocolate lab, Callie and affectionate cat, Sasha. In her brief moments of free time, she enjoys West Coast Swing dancing, reading and hiking.

Cindy Johnson, DVM

Dr. Cindy Johnson grew up in Dayton, Ohio, where her family still resides. She received her BS and Associates degree in Veterinary Technology from Morehead State University in Kentucky in 2003. She then went to The Ohio State University for veterinary school and graduated in 2008. She has three loveable 4-legged kids: Kira, her lab mix and her two cats, Fender and Gibson. In her free time, Dr. Cindy likes to walk her dog, spend time outdoors and watch the Buckeyes during football season!
