Nikki has been working in an animal hospital since she was 16 years old, throughout high school and college. She has worked at Magnolia since it opened in 1998.  She has always enjoyed working with animals. They have taught her a lot about unconditional love.  She also enjoys scrapbooking and volunteering with the SPCA, and now runs her own business as owner of a Bed and Breakfast while still helping out with Magnolia.

Jason comes to us from Los Angeles, CA. Jason has worked in other animal hospitals in Raleigh in animal care and reception. He is enjoying fatherhood with his son, Mason Bryant, and also has four pets: Timmy, a long haired Chihuahua who helps out at Magnolia part-time, two Cornsnakes (one named Vito), and a Bearded Dragon. Jason enjoys fishing, baseball, hockey, music (especially singing), and movies.  He plans to continue his experience in the veterinary field.

Sasha moved from Florida to North Carolina about six years ago and enjoys the change of seasons we experience here.  Although this is her first experience working in an animal hospital, she has thoroughly enjoyed previous experiences working as a receptionist.  She is very excited to be in an environment with animals and looks forward to seeing your pets in our office!

Julia comes to Magnolia Animal Hospital as a chemist turned vet assistant. Originally from Oregon, she has lived in North Carolina since 2003.  She is working towards further education in veterinary medicine, with a possible emphasis in pathology or public health.  She loves outdoor activities such as canoeing, sailing, and biking, and also enjoys cooking and swing dancing.  Her family includes her fiancé, Kenneth, a Wiggle (that's what she calls a Beagle-Whippet cross) named C. B., a Lab/Border Collie named Lucy, and their latest addition is Curry, a domestic medium-haired cat.

Allison is originally from Pennsylvania.  She obtained a B.A. in Human Studies from Warren Wilson College and A.D. in Human Canine Life Sciences from Assistance Dog Institute. Allison is a vegetarian and she enjoys the outdoors, gardening, tennis, dog behavior and training. She is married to Jamie and their pets include Gus, a Norwegian Elkhound/German Shepherd, Ali, a Lab/Golden Mix, and Chase, a Border Collie.  Allison and Jamie are excited to be entering the realm of parenthood in April, so give them a hearty "Congratulations" next time you see Allison at Magnolia!

Danielle is originally from Windsor, NC, and is currently attending NC State to earn her degree in Animal Science.  She hopes to eventually go to vet school.  She enjoys being outside, going to the beach or the river.  Her pets include a Boston Terrier named Dudley, two cats named Daisy and Duke, an English Bulldog named Doc, two turtles named Timon and Pumba, a mutt named Brownie, and a not-quite-ferret-type-critter named Foxy.

Jennifer graduated from Converse College in 2007 with a B.S. in Biology.  After a short stint in the Microbiology PhD program at NCSU, she realized it wasn't the right path for her.  She is now taking some classes at NCSU and has applied to vet school for Fall 2009.  She would eventually like to work in the public health area of veterinary medicine.  Jennifer has one dog, Greta, who is full of energy and wants to be everyone's friend.  Jennifer enjoys movies, hanging with her family, and sleeping.  She is a "Pancake Connoisseur" and would love suggestions of restaurants where she can get some good flapjacks.

Ashley has a love for all animals, especially her dog Roscoe and cat Sparkle.  She loves spending time with family and friends, going to the beach to visit friends, and watching Carolina games.  She is a big Tarheel fan and always looks forward to basketball season!  She is married to Brandon, and her future plans are to continue a career working with animals.

Kristi comes from a large family but now lives in Raleigh with her boyfriend and several pets: 3 cats named Oontz, Optimus Prime, and Tabo; a cornsnake named Karma; 1 pug/terrier mix named Benji; and a dwarf rabbit named Buddha Bunny.  She is working towards getting experience in the veterinary field and earning a vet tech degree, and would also like to finish her biology degree and eventually go to vet school.  She loves science and learning and would stay in school forever if she could.  She is also interested in animals, bowling, games, internet, music, and reading.

Molly was born and raised in Raleigh, and enjoys reading books, talking, and playing with animals.  She is a fun-loving person with a great personality and can get along well with anyone, but of course she especially loves animals.  In the future, she would like to become an animal law enforcement officer.

Morgan is currently in the tenth grade and is already starting the preparation for a career involved with animals by getting experience working in the kennel.  She has been home schooled for the past three years, and has particular interest in music - playing piano and guitar, and composing her own.  She loves all animals, but especially dogs.  For the past five years, she has been the proud owner of a Norwich/Cairn Terrier named Chester, who her family adopted from the pound.  She also enjoys hanging out with her friends and family, and lovin' on her dog!

Dr. Jon and Nikki found her at a gas station in Virginia. Someone had dropped her off about a month before. They fell in love with her immediately and brought her back to Raleigh. The hospital had suffered a tragic loss when Sylvester Q-Tip, the first hospital cat, passed away. So Savannah took on the role of new hospital cat. The doctors and staff enjoy having her around. She always finds new and inventive places to sleep, but her favorite is perched on top of the computer monitor. Next time you are in, make sure you say "Hi" to Savannah.
